YWCA of Queens staff, members, program participants, and their families joined together in celebration of Korean culture during the Manhattan Korean Day Parade on October 1st. Proudly marching behind our banner and carrying bright orange balloons, the YW joined thousands of New York City’s residents in honoring cultural diversity and tradition. Parade marchers enjoyed kimbap, a traditional Korean dish, after they finished their walk down Avenue of the Americas.
