ACCESS HEALTH PROGRAM
The Access Health Program is an educational health initiative designed to empower culturally competent, community-based organizations to conduct outreach and provide educational efforts related to healthcare access, coverage, and various topics concerning physical and mental health.
We host a monthly online workshop where we invite doctors and medical experts to discuss prevalent physical illnesses affecting the community.

Why is Access Health important for you?
Similar to other communities of color, the Asian American community faces significant disparities in health outcomes and indicators. Among the more prevalent health conditions affecting this population are cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hepatitis B, mental health issues, and others.
To address these challenges, Access Health brings together doctors and medical experts in specific areas of health to inform and educate our community on these critical topics. By providing access to reliable and expert-led information, we aim to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
Cancer
Cancer is the leading cause of death for Asian American men and women.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B is a serious global health problem that disproportionately affects Asians and Africans.
In the U.S., Asians and Pacific Islanders account for more than 50% of people living with chronic hepatitis B.
Cardiovascular disease
Social determinants of health, such as racism, immigration, socioeconomic position, and nutrition security, affect cardiovascular health in Asian Americans.
Mental health
The Asian American community faces health outcome disparities, including mental health issues.
Other health conditions Hypertension, Tuberculosis, Osteoporosis, and Tobacco use.
