OUTREACH & COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
Throughout the year, we actively engage in outreach initiatives to raise awareness of our programs and services within the community. Our outreach efforts include the distribution of flyers, brochures, and promotional materials in key locations such as subway stations, supermarkets, malls, schools, and local streets. These initiatives are specifically aimed at reaching low-income families in Flushing.
In addition to direct outreach, we are committed to developing and maintaining partnerships with various agencies and local businesses in the community to enhance our ability to serve our target population effectively.
If you happen to see one of our staff members at a health fair or community event, please feel free to approach them to learn more about our programs.
We are always eager to establish new partnerships with community-based organizations and individuals who share our mission of bringing valuable resources and education to our clients and members.
The YWCA of Queens conducts extensive outreach in Flushing, with a focus on reaching low-income families and promoting our wide range of services. To ensure our programs are accessible to those who need them most, we distribute flyers, brochures, and promotional items in high-traffic areas such as Main Street, local schools, supermarkets, and community hubs. This grassroots approach helps us connect with families who may benefit from our services, providing them with essential information and support to improve their well-being. By actively engaging with the community, we strive to make our resources more visible and accessible to those who need them.
At the YWCA of Queens, establishing strong partnerships with local agencies and businesses is crucial to expanding our reach and effectively delivering our services to the community. These collaborations help us connect with more clients and ensure that our resources are accessible to those who need them most.
These partnerships are vital to our mission of supporting and empowering families in need.
