On November 8th, 38 students and staff from the Evergreen School for Seniors went on an exciting field trip to the Cloister Museum in Manhattan. Part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cloister Museum contains a wide variety of Medieval art and architecture. Students enjoyed a relaxing lunch at a nearby park overlooking the Hudson River and then spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the halls and gardens of the museum. Program Coordinator Joan Chung said “the woman looked like teenagers again when they set out in the school bus” towards the museum. Participants returned to the YW later that evening with great memories and new knowledge.
