Free Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) testing

On Friday, November 13, our YWCA Queens Community Support Department will be partnering with KCS to provide free Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) testing for our clients.
H. pylori is one of the major causes of stomach cancer. Early detection and treatment are important steps in reducing the risk of developing stomach cancer.

Testing Method: Urea Breath Test
Important Preparation Instructions:

Participants must fast for at least 3 hours before the test.

Participants must not take antibiotics or antacids within 10 days before the test.
Registration Required:
Advance appointments are required. Each appointment takes approximately 20 minutes, with up to 3 participants per time slot.
Clients can register by scanning the QR code on the flyer or calling the YWCA Community Services Department.
