DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, November 13\, our YWCA Queens Community Support Department will be partnering with KCS to provide free Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) testing for our clients.\nH. pylori is one of the major causes of stomach cancer. Early detection and treatment are important steps in reducing the risk of developing stomach cancer.\nEvent Details:\n\n\nDate: Friday\, November 13\, 2026\n\n\nTime: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n\n\nLocation: YWCA Community Support Center – 2930 Union St\, Flushing NY 11354\n\n\nTesting Method: Urea Breath Test\n\n\nImportant Preparation Instructions:\n\n\nParticipants must fast for at least 3 hours before the test.\n\n\nParticipants must not take antibiotics or antacids within 10 days before the test.\n\n\nRegistration Required:\nAdvance appointments are required.
