Why support the YWCA of Queens?

The Young Women’s Christian Association of Queens (YWCA of Queens) is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We provide the necessary resources and educational tools, thoroughly supporting families in our community in their effort to become self-sufficient.

The YWCA of Queens is recognized as an influential non-profit that meets the needs of low-income individuals and immigrants in one of the most diverse cities in the world. Since its founding in 1978 by nine immigrant women, the organization now serves over 3,000 families annually through its multi-generational and cross-cultural services. With our overarching goal to address the diverse needs of Queens, we are able to stand as a beacon in the communities we serve and offer integral services to encourage educational, economic and personal well-being.

Please join us at our 39th annual Gala in celebrating and supporting “One Mission, Endless Possibilities.”
