We are excited to announce that our 38th Annual YWCA of Queens Gala will be held on Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at Terrace on the Park in historical Flushing Meadows Park in Flushing, Queens. Our theme “Remembering the Past, Envisioning the Future”, showcases our rich history of community engagement, while strategically planning for a future of continued service, growth and inspiration!

Why support the YWCA of Queens?

Everyone who walks through our doors has a dream—to secure sustainable employment, support their children, improve their English, go to college, attain an HSE, improve grades, or create a new life after escaping an abusive relationship—and our goal is to help each person achieve that dream. The YWCA of Queens serves over 3,000 women, immigrants, seniors, and families each year through its is certifiably recognized for having one of the best GED and Literacy programs in New York City, receives the highest “excellence” ratings from the City year after year, and our career and job training program has been praised as an example and model of the type of real impact that can be made through non-profit organizations.
