The New York Music Competition (NYMC) is currently accepting applications for its prestigious musical contest to identify and award outstanding young musicians. The Competition will take place from April 18 to 21 at the YWCA of Queens auditorium. The application must be postmarked by April 2, 2012. Drop by the YW for the application.
Performance Genres and Age Groups:
-Piano: For ages 7-15
-Violin: Up to 15 years old
-Cello: For ages 9-17
The NYMC Winners’ Concert will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall at 8 p.m.
