This past Saturday, June 13th, PS/IS 268 student Riaz Yassin won first place in the Sci-Fi category of SONYC’s Reel Exposure Film Festival. For his efforts, Riaz won a Canon 32GB Vixia HRF R52 camera and one week of film camp in August. We’re so proud. Way to go, Riaz!
The festival celebrated the work of middle school students across NYC who participated in the School’s Out NYC (SONYC) afterschool program for Acting and Film. The SONYC program is funded by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development.
