We offer activities after school Monday – Friday for grades 6-8. The day starts with a snack.
Activities include homework help (every day), STEM and Literacy twice a week, as well as basketball, rugby, volleyball, soccer, Martial Arts, Step team, Hip Hop dance, Fashion/ Art, Chess, and theater.

The YWCA of Queens was granted funding from the Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD) to partner up with PS/IS 268 to provide FREE a comprehensive afterschool program for all middle school students grades 6th-8th. Programming will feature team sports including basketball, volleyball, and STEP; hands-on, project-based literacy and STEM electives such as video production & acting, journalism, and K’NEX/Junk Drawer robotics; and tutoring.
