NYMC Winner’s Concert

The 20th NY Music Competition Winner’s Concert

Carnegie hallOn behalf of the YWCA of Queens, I congratulate you for winning the 20th New York Music Competition.
We invite you to perform at our exclusive Winner’s concert and Award Ceremony on Tuesday, 5/23/2017 8:00pm.  The event will take place at:

Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall
(154 W. 57th St New York, NY 10019)

1st and 2nd prize winners (with the exception of Violin A1 winners) have the honor of performing at this event, and will receive awards for their achievement during the Awards Ceremony. 3rd place and Honorable Mention prize winners will also be awarded at the Awards Ceremony.  Please let us know if you plan to attend. You may invite friends and family to see your performance. All winners will have 1 complimentary ticket.

Tickets ($20 per ticket / No Group tickets) can be purchased at the YWCA of Queens or can be purchased at theCarnegie Weill Hall Box Office or online http://www.carnegiehall.org/

In preparation for the Event: Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall has strict policies on who may enter the backstage area. Only performers and guardians are allowed in the backstage area during rehearsals. Guardians are prohibited from entering the backstage area during show time.

Day of the Event: the Carnegie Hall stage door located at 161 W. 56 St. and take the elevator to R5,backstage Weill Recital Hall.

Dress Code: The guardian must bring the winner to the back stage dressed in formal wear;dress and shoes/ jacket and shoes. 

 Please note that the rehearsal will take place on the same day of the concert as follows.
